Once your profile is created, you can start receiving requests from families. Requests are verified and forwarded through our internal chat. If you confirm a party via chat, you will pay the fee included in your plan. The Be My Hero team will also help you optimize your profile to increase your chances of being chosen.

The public profile is available only with subscription plans. With the free plan, you can receive requests and chat with families, but you will not appear in public searches and you will not have an externally visible storefront. By activating a subscription, your storefront becomes public, visible in the provinces you select, and gains greater visibility.

When a family submits a request, subscription profiles receive a period of exclusivity (which varies depending on the plan) during which only they can contact the family. Once the exclusivity period ends, the request can also be followed up by other profiles.
